Dear Fellow Rotarians & Guests,
This year, Rotary Club of Suntec City celebrates our 10th Year demonstrated by 9 years of distinguished service to the community.
I wish to thank our Charter President, all our Past Presidents and Board Members for their selfless efforts, dedication, significant contribution and commitment in serving the club.
As we embark on our 10th Year, we will focus our efforts within the framework of Rotary International Strategic Plan and to implement the Strategic Planning process to ensure continuity and sustainability.
I believe in the power and value of “Collaboration” and in Rotary we have diverse talents, expertise and skill sets to achieve greater good in the humanitarian efforts of Rotary’s International in the areas of health, hunger, literacy and water.
To successfully strengthen our bonds with our sister clubs, we plan to collaborate with them on international community projects that are aligned to Rotary International objectives.
I am delighted that for our Club’s PE Major Project this year, we have embarked on the “Meals from the Heart” project to provide a meal a day for the needy, poor and less fortunate especially senior citizens who are in need of support. The meals will be provided in the form of meal vouchers and meal delivery arrangements.
We will continue to nurture our Interactors and Rotaractors in character building, developing leadership skills and personal integrity as well as advancing international understanding and goodwill.
We will go the extra mile to embrace and live the spirit of Rotary and demonstrate our commitment to Service Above Self.
As we seek sustainability of an effective club, we encourage greater participation from our members and look forward to your support.
