PONY RIDE AND PICNIC WITH THE SPASTIC CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE)

Description: The Club arranged an outing for 30 children with special needs and are between 3-6 years old of SCAS at Pasir Ris Gallop Stable. As the children were waiting their turn to ride the pony, the rotarians, interactors and rotractor all spent time looking after and playing with individual children with various toys bought and provided by our rotary club. After the pony ride, the children proceeded to a picnic by the beach where they enjoyed their lunch of Mcdonalds Happy Meal.

Description: The Rotary Club of Suntec City made a $2000 dontation to support elderly services in Yong-en Care Centre in the area of Home Nursing work in the China Town area.

Description: The Rotary Club of Suntec City worked with the our sister club the Rotary Club of Patumwan to raise money in a matching grant project to support food and drinking water for the evacuation center in Ibaraki Prefecture
WATER, TOILET AND CANTEEN FACILITIES FOR HILL TRIBE CHILDREN, THAILAND

Description: The major project of PE Max Goh, the project is a effective and meaningful continuity of the School project done by then PE Violet Lim started in Jan 2010. 2 water piping systems, a toilet and a canteen was added to the Hill tribe villages to enhance the facilities in the Hill tribe villages in Chiang Mai further together as well as many gifts for the children of the hill tribes. A generous donation came from various sources in which one of them is the Banyan Tree Global Foundation. 9 members of the Rotary club of Suntec City flew to Chiang Mai to meet up with members of the Rotary Club of Patumwan in Thailand who helped coordinate the effort to visit the sites and meet the villagers. Great fellowship activities were held for both clubs to strengthen an already strong sister club relationship and friendship between the 2 clubs.
